DIY Flower Decor

Hands down one of my favorite pieces I've made. It's project level: easy! Wallet level (how much mula is this going to cost your husband?): Cheap!. If you have any questions ask! I'm happy to help! I'll try to describe each step the best I can below:

Step 1: Buy yo' stuff fool!

Step 2: Paint the Milk jugs/glass bottles, depending on how much paint you use, wait until they are dry.

Step 3: While you let them dry, stain your wood base that you glue the milk jugs too. I would let the stain dry over night.

Step 4: Using Wood glue (buy at any home depot) or you can use gorilla glue. (I used wood glue), Glue to bottles to the wood plank. I would let them dry over night. When you go to pick it up the next day make sure you glued them well enough- glass breaks if it's not attached right then picked up.

Step 5: Get the floral (plastic, dried, real) you bought. Place them in the jars. Arrange so it's pretty.

Step 6: Hang it up- let people see it and tell you how freaking awesome you are.

MATERIALS:
-Milk Jugs (I bought mine at a local boutique) $1.49 a bottle- don't pay a lot it's just a glass bottle. I used three, you can use more if it's a bigger piece of wood.
-Paint- tiniest jar you can find. You won't need much. Maybe even use left overs from the room you never painted.
-Paint brush- to paint the jar, duh!
-Wood Plank- I got mine from Joanne's Fabric they always have a coupon so I got mine 60% off.
-Wood Glue- Go to home depot it's like $4.00
-Wood Stain- You could also use paint but I prefer the look of stain since the jars are painted. I also got this at home depot for $4.00
-Sponge to rub stain on- Home depot- or use a rag that you don't want anymore.
-Sand paper- Also Home Depot- just one sheet will do
-Floral- I got mine at Joanne's Fabric, you can get it anywhere though. I love the look of dried floral as well.

Instructions:
1. Paint you glass bottles and let them dry
2. Sand down the wood plank and stain it
3.Let them both dry over night.
4.Using your glue, glue the bottles to the wood and let it dry over night. Use more glue than you think.
5.Stick the floral's in the bottle and call yourself a DIY expert.
